Montserrat, West Indies.

Montserrat_© We lived on Montserrat in the early 1970s and I wanted to record the lovely tropical island so that I’d have a memory of our first home.  Others may like to be reminded too of how it looked before Chance Peak erupted dramatically in 1997.

The signed Giclée print measures 590 x 420 mm (16½” x 23¼” approx).

N.B.  For each of these prints that are sold, I will give £10  to the Montserrat Tourist Board.

Iona, Western Isles of Scotland.

Iona_©The 1,450th anniversary of St Columba arriving on Iona inspired me to paint my favourite island from a monk’s point of view.  The only concession to modernity is a monk playing golf to show where the course is!

The signed Giclée print measures 580 x 415 mm (23” x 16¼” approx.).

Moray and Speyside

Iain's Moray mapBeautiful Moray and Speyside, the home of malt whisky, have a wealth of interesting places to see and I decorated the map with varied wildlife and native plants.  The distilleries are shown by copper stills dotted along the Spey valley.

The signed Giclée print measures 540 x 475 mm (21¼” x 18¾” approx.).

Nairnshire

Nairnshire_©I painted the small and beautiful county of Nairnshire in 1971 to remind us of our home when we lived far away.  It is a happy reminder of this wonderful part of Scotland.

The signed Giclée print measures 580 x 430 mm (23” x 17” approx.).

Nairn Golf Club

Nairn golf course_©I wanted to record the history, flora and fauna of Nairn’s historic championship golf course in its wonderful setting by the Moray Firth.  As well as capturing some of the fantastic views from the fairways, it is an accurate map and attractive souvenir of the links course.

The signed Giclée print measures 410 x 590 mm (16” x 23¼” approx.).
